1. Acceptance and eligibility
These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and B12 Insight, the operator of b12cardio.com (“B12 Insight”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By creating an account, buying report credits, opening a report or otherwise using the service, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. If you use the service for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for that organisation. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service and medical limits
B12 Insight provides an educational self-assessment about vitamin B12 and cardiovascular risk. The short score and risk band are available without payment. A detailed report can be unlocked with a report credit.
The score and report are generated from the fixed answers you select. They do not measure your vitamin B12 level, diagnose a deficiency or disease, determine treatment, or replace a blood test and a qualified clinician. They describe how your profile compares with published risk factors.
Paid guest-post publishing is not currently offered. If it is opened later, the eligibility, review, publication and refund rules shown before payment will also apply.
This is not medical care
No doctor-patient relationship is created. Do not use the service for an emergency. If you have neurological symptoms, unexplained anaemia, are pregnant or have another acute concern, contact an appropriate healthcare professional or your local emergency service.
3. Accounts and security
You must provide accurate account information, keep your login credentials confidential and remain responsible for activity carried out through your account. Do not share your account or let another person use it to obtain a report about you.
Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. We may ask you to verify control of the account before changing account details, lifting a security restriction or processing a request.
4. Prices, payment and report credits
Paid reports are sold as one-time report credits. The current packages and prices are shown on the pricing page and again at checkout. You are not subscribing, you will not be charged automatically, and we do not offer automatic top-up.
The amount and currency shown at checkout are the amount you authorise us to charge. Prices may be shown in USD; where a CNY amount is offered, the CNY price is used for that payment and is not converted from the USD price by reusing the same number.
| Item | How it works |
|---|---|
| Payment model | One-time purchase of report credits |
| Subscription | None |
| Automatic renewal | None |
| Automatic top-up | None |
| Payment providers | The provider shown at checkout, which may include Waffo Pancake, Stripe, PayPal, Creem, Alipay or WeChat Pay through a supported provider |
When Waffo Pancake is shown as the seller or merchant of record at checkout, it handles payment collection, applicable taxes, receipts and provider-side refund processing under its own buyer terms. B12 Insight remains responsible for delivering the report service and for these terms.
Card details are handled by the selected payment provider under its own terms and privacy notice. We do not receive or store your full card number or card security code. The final amount and currency shown by the payment provider at checkout, including any applicable taxes or fees, are the amount you authorise.
5. Delivery and unlocking
After a payment is confirmed, report credits are added to your account. One credit unlocks one report. Credits remain in your account until used and do not expire under the current product terms.
Credits are personal, have no cash value and cannot be sold, transferred or exchanged for money. The report is delivered electronically in your account and can be downloaded when unlocked. If a confirmed payment does not add the expected credit, contact us before attempting another payment.
6. Refunds and billing issues
A single order may be refunded in full if every report credit from that order is still unused and you contact us within 7 calendar days of purchase. Once any credit from that order has been used to unlock a report, the order no longer qualifies for a voluntary refund. This does not affect any non-excludable legal right.
- Duplicate or incorrect charges will be investigated and refunded where confirmed.
- If the service fails to deliver a paid report because of a technical fault, contact us so we can restore access or provide an appropriate refund.
- Nothing in these terms removes a consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded in your country or region, including any applicable statutory withdrawal right.
To request a refund, email the contact address below with your account email, order or transaction number and a short explanation. We aim to acknowledge billing requests within 2 business days and send approved refunds to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. Your bank or payment provider may take longer to display the refund.
If you dispute a charge, please contact us first so we can identify the order and try to resolve it. A payment provider may temporarily restrict related credits while a chargeback or fraud investigation is open.
7. Acceptable use
You may use the service only for lawful, personal and non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:
- Break any applicable law or encourage another person to do so.
- Access the service through unauthorised means, interfere with its security or attempt to reach another user’s account or data.
- Scrape, copy, resell or systematically extract the service or its reports without our written permission.
- Upload another person’s information without their permission or present a report as a medical diagnosis.
- Use the service to harass, discriminate, defraud or create a risk to another person’s health or safety.
8. Intellectual property
The website, scoring logic, report design, text, graphics and other service materials are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the service and download reports for your own personal, educational and clinical-discussion use.
You may print or share a copy of your own report with a healthcare professional. You may not republish it as a commercial product, remove ownership notices or use our name and branding in a way that suggests endorsement without our written permission. If you send us feedback, you allow us to use it to improve the service without an obligation to pay you.
9. Privacy and your information
Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, how long we keep it and the choices available to you. Your check answers may relate to health and are handled as sensitive information as described there.
Payment providers process card data under their own notices. We receive the order details needed to confirm payment, grant credits and handle refunds, and we do not store full card details. Please keep medical records, clinician letters and another person’s records out of the service unless support specifically asks for a document needed to resolve your request.
10. Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep the service available and accurate, but access may be interrupted by maintenance, security measures, provider outages or events outside our reasonable control. We may correct, update, add or remove features where reasonably necessary and will give notice of a material change where appropriate.
If we permanently discontinue the paid service, we will provide a reasonable way to access or download reports already unlocked and address unused, refundable credits in accordance with applicable law. Nothing in this section limits a non-excludable consumer right.
11. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that every answer, score, risk factor, action plan or citation is complete, current or suitable for your individual circumstances, or that the service will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
Do not rely on a report as a diagnosis
A report is educational information based on self-reported answers. It cannot confirm or exclude a vitamin deficiency, cardiovascular condition or any other disease. Confirm any concern with appropriate testing and a qualified healthcare professional.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss arising from the service or your use of a report. Our total liability for a claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or the minimum amount required by law if greater.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you are a consumer, you keep all mandatory protections available in your country or region.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you seriously breach these terms, we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse, we are required to do so by law, or continuing the account creates a security or legal risk. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and give you a chance to respond.
You may stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account by contacting support. Account deletion is currently handled manually after we verify control of the account. Deleting an account may remove access to saved reports and unused credits. If we terminate for a reason that is not your breach, or if applicable law requires it, we will refund the unused, prepaid portion that is refundable.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the service, payment options or law changes. We will update the date and version at the top of this page. For a material change, we will give clear notice by email or in the service before it takes effect where required, and normally at least 14 days in advance.
The updated terms apply from their stated effective date. If you do not agree to a material change, stop using the service and contact us about any unused credits or legal right you may have. Continuing to use the service after the effective date means you accept the updated terms to the extent permitted by law.
14. Governing law and disputes
Before starting a formal legal process, please email us a clear description of the issue and the outcome you are seeking. We will try in good faith to resolve the dispute informally within 30 days.
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the B12 Insight operating entity is established, together with any mandatory consumer law that applies where you live. The legal entity and registered address are available from the contact below on request. Nothing in these terms prevents you from bringing a claim before a court or consumer authority that has jurisdiction under applicable law.
15. General and contact
These terms and the Privacy Policy form the whole agreement between you and us about the service. If one provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign this agreement without our consent; we may assign it as part of a reorganisation or transfer of the service, subject to applicable law.
Questions about billing, refunds, account deletion or these terms should be sent to the address below. Include your account email and order number where relevant so we can find the right records. Do not send a full medical history.
